Donald Foran

Donald Foran, 83, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Rosewood on Broadway. Donald Foran was born January 5, 1924 in LaMoure, ND, the son of Thomas and Midge (Hagedorn) Foran. He grew up and attended school at LaMoure and attended business school in Fargo. Donald entered the US Navy in January 1943. He served in the Pacific Theater, most of that time as a radio operator. He was discharged on January 31, 1946. Donald T. Foran and Arlean Naset were married in November 3, 1948 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. They lived in Fargo and he worked for various wholesale plumbing companies. Donald and Arlean moved to California in 1957 where he again worked for wholesale plumbing companies. Don retired in 1990 and they moved back to Fargo. He was a life member of the West Fargo VFW. He is survived by his sister, Jeanne Foran, Claremont, CA; brother-in-law, Ejvin Mikkelsen; sisters-in-law, Vivian Wiest, Fargo, ND, Bernita Brown, Bismarck, ND, Clara Naset, Spokane, WA, Ella Foran, Lodi, CA, Ann Naset, Kansas City, Missouri, and Bernice Foran, Elim Home, Fargo, ND; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife on March 9, 2006; his parents; his sister, Alice Brown, and brothers, Howard and Richard.
