Dorothy Riehm

Dorothy M. Riehm, age 96 of Fargo, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Bethany Homes under the care of Hospice and the loving staff of Bethany Homes. Dorothy Derbort was born on October 14, 1910 near Wolverton, MN, one of eight children born to John and Philamina (Hauber) Derbort. She grew up in Barnesville, MN and later moved to Fargo where she met her husband, F. Rowland Riehm. They were married on July 3, 1937 at St. Mary?s Cathedral in Fargo. She was a life-long member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and volunteered for many years at St. Vincent de Paul Society. Dorothy was a loving and devoted mother to her seven children and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her five daughters, Kathy (Roger) Huebner of Edina, MN, Dorothy (David) Entin of Northampton, MA, Mary (Andreas) Athanasiou of Westford, MA, Jane (Steven) Hovden of Fargo, Susan (Bruce) Nathan of Columbus, MT; her son, Peter (Colleen) Riehm of Winnemucca, NV; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rowland in 1968; her son, Paul in 1967 and seven brothers and sisters. Visitation: Thursday, October 4 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour prior to Mass at the church on Friday. Prayer Service: Thursday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Mass: Friday, October 5 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
