Douglas Francis Flint, 56, died Tuesday, May 8th, 2007 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS due to complications from Congestive Heart Failure.
Doug was born February 16th, 1951 to Norbert and Mildred (Sturm) Flint. He grew up in rural Glyndon, MN with his brother and sister. He attended Dilworth Glyndon Felton High School. Doug married Jeanne Fossen in 1977. They raised two daughters, Jodie and Katie. They lived in Fargo, ND. He made his living as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He had a great love for animals, and cared for several cats and dogs in his home. He was a proud man, and known for helping others.
He is survived by two daughters, Jodie Flint (Rochester, MN) and Katie Flint (Fargo, ND), brother LeRoy Flint; nephew Scott Murphy, Evansville, IN; nieces Denise (Ty) Allen, Hibbing, MN, Melissa (Gib) Rigg, Washington D.C., and Kari (Corby) Marshall, Lincoln, NE; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Norbert Flint and Millie Halvorson, step-father Ludwig Halvorson, and sister Judy Byers.
Memorial Service: Friday June 1, 2007 at 1:00 pm in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
