Douglas Gustafson, 73, Fargo, Died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services, Fargo, ND

Douglas Gustafson was born on August 20, 1937 in Conway, ND.  He grew up on a farm near Hallson, ND where he attended school.  Douglas enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1957 to 1959  and was stationed in Berlin, Germany.

Douglas and Janice were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived most of their life in Fargo, ND. Douglas worked for McGarvey Coffee Co for ten years. He became selfemployed in 1977 doing postal contracts.

Douglas enjoyed going to the casinos, fishing, playing poker, coin detecting, and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Clara (Ackerland) Gustafson; sisters, Donna, Beula, Lillian, and Pearl; and his brothers, Lester, Orvil, and Norman.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Duane (Darcy) Barnes, Pelican Rapids, MN, Kurtis (Vicki) Gustafson, Kalispell,MT, Douglas R. Gustafson, Fargo, Lorena (Duane) Jansen, West Fargo, Gordon Gustafson, Fargo; brother, Donald Gustafson, Clarkston, WA; 15 grandchildren; 6 great trandchildren.
