Ed Jordheim

Ed. O. Jordheim, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2008, at age 97 in ManorCare Health Services, Fargo, ND. Ed was born on April 25, 1911 in Wyndmere, North Dakota, the son of Sven and Ingeborg (Halbjorhus) Jordheim. He attended country school in Wyndmere where he farmed with his family. He worked road construction, including the highway 94 bridge in 1957. Ed married Mildred Pederson in September 1936 in Fargo. After working road construction Ed continued living in Kindred working for Berkely feed store before moving to Fargo in 1995. Ed enjoyed dancing with his special friend Nora and playing cards. Ed is survived by 4 children, Elden (Diane) Jordheim of Moorhead, Elaine (Walter) Graf of Audubon, MN, LaVonne (Robert) Motznik of Anchorage, AK, and Lorrie (Michael) Leviegegrant of Anchorage, AK, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 step-grandchild. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, and 3 brothers, Oscar, Clarence, and Ted. Funeral Service: 11:00 in Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND with a family viewing beginning at 9:00. Interment: Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Wyndmere, ND.
