Edie McGuire

 Edie McGuire, 89, of Fargo died Wednesday, August 29th in Bethany Homes. Edie McGuire, daughter of Franklin and Alta Hutchinson was born March 24, 1918 near Tuttle, ND. She attended school in Tuttle and Washburn and later moved to Fargo where she graduated from Central High School and attended business college. Edie and Mac McGuire were married February 2, 1937 in Minot, ND. The couple lived in Washburn, ND, Bismarck, ND, Aberdeen, SD and New Rockford, ND before moving to Fargo/Moorhead in 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and five brothers. Her husband died in 1998 after 62 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Michael (Linda) McGuire, Fargo and her daughter, Patricia (Jay) Anderson, Georgetown, Texas; her grandchildren, Randi (David) Anderson Jandt, Fairbanks, AK, JoDee (Fernando) Anderson\Seco, Lugo, Spain, Tony (Susie)Anderson, Overland Park, Kansas, Steve McGuire, Mercer, CA, Shannon (Matt) Brum, Fargo; great grandchildren, Madison Nicole and Brock Burm, Fargo and Emma and Marcos Seco, Lugo, Spain. Edie dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and very special nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the donations may be made to the senders charity of choice, or to charities that benefit children. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.5th in the Mavis Whiting Chapel in Bethany, Fargo, ND Visitation: One hour before the funeral on Wednesday at Bethany.
