  7. I am so sorry for your loss Jared, Tonya and Darren. My Dad ( Mike) got to see her before he passed and they had a wonderful time like brothers and sisters do. Your Mom will always remain in my heart and I am here for you if there is anything I can do.

  8. I had the privilege of student teaching under this great lady back in 1975. I loved her patience and her sense of humor. My thoughts are with with all of her family during this difficult time.

  9. Jared, Darren, Tonya and families,
I was so sorry to learn of Elaine’s death. We taught together for many years in Devils Lake and served as team leaders in the Teacher Corps program through UND. Jared and Darren are former students of mine so I knew them well. My daughter Carla was Tonya’s babysitter. Elaine was a great friend and always there for you when you needed someone to talk to. She was an excellent teacher and loved her students. May she rest in peace.

  10. The Smith family sends their our sincere sympathy and prayers for the loss of your mother. We have many great memories of our years as next door neighbors. She was always so kind and generous and loved to visit! I have to say that just about everything I know about gardening and canning came from Elaine’s expertise! I still some of her recipes !
May you be comforted by the memories you hold special in your heart..may Elaine rest in peace in the palm of God’s hands ~. Diane Smith
