Elaine Zelinski

elaine zelinski

Elaine Zelinski, 84, died peacefully December 9, 2013 in St. Cloud, MN with her son, Tim, by her side. Elaine was born to John and Anna Beckman, September 10, 1929 in Tintah, MN. Elaine married William (Bill) Zelinski on June 22, 1955 in Fargo, N.D. where they raised their family. Elaine lost Bill to leukemia in 1989.

Elaine is survived by her three loving children, Mark (Elizabeth - Appleton, WI), Tim (Sharon - Sartell, MN) and Cindy Morse (Rob - Bismarck, ND). She is also survived by six wonderful and loving grandchildren: Nathan (Laura - Marshfield, WI), Jared (Appleton, WI), Tyler (Sartell, MN) and Christina Zelinski (Steven, MN), Shelby and Logan Morse (Bismarck, ND), and her great granddaughter, Ava Zelinski (Marshfield, WI). She is also survived by her sisters Phyllis Beckman (Detroit Lakes, MN) and Shirley Myron (Casper, WY) plus many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was a full time homemaker for 23 years before working full time at North Dakota State University for over two decades. Elaine and Bill enjoyed watching their kid’s, and later their grandchildren’s, sporting events and activities. Elaine also loved spending time at "the lakes" with her family, spending time with her sisters, and going to the casino every now and then.

This is a very close family and although often separated by geography, we always find time to get together, we always get along, and we always enjoy each other's company. Elaine built a great family and had many friends over the years. She will be greatly missed by all.
