Eleanor Mazakahomni

Eleanor Mazakahomni, 67, Fargo, ND, died in her home Monday, December 4, 2006. Eleanor Mazakahomni was born May 9, 1939 in Fort Totten, ND. She grew up on a farm near St. Michael, ND and graduated from Fort Totten High School in 1957. She then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she attended school and received her LPN degree. She worked as a nurse in Fort Yates, ND and Rosebud, SD in the Indian Hospitals. She moved to Fargo where she worked as a nurse for Community Health and the VA Medical Center. She retired in 1997. Eleanor enjoyed playing Bingo, going to casinos, rummage sales, and visiting the elderly. She was a very good seamstress. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Tweeton, Detroit Lakes, MN; 4 grandchildren, Zach, Josh, Justin, and Jenessa; 2 sisters, Esther Abraham, St. Michael, ND and Sylvia (Don) Webber, Hemet, CA..
