Eleanor Russell

Eleanor A. Roberts-Russell, 89, went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2006. She was born to Frank and Cora Roberts in Litchville, North Dakota. She was the eldest of five children. She lived in Litchville, Nome, Fingal, and Fargo, North Dakota. She married Kermit Russell who preceded her in death. Eleanor was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. In addition to raising her children she also worked at Pioneer Mutual and later the Black Building. The world is not nearly as bright without her; however, her memory will live and shine forever in the hearts of all whom she loved so much. She was preceded in death by sisters, Frances and Beatrice; brother, Howard, and a great-granddaughter, Jesi. She had four children, Darlene (Duane), David (Ginny), Daniel (Diane), and Donna. She had thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Eleanor is also survived by her sister, Rose Olson of Fargo. Funeral Service: Friday, January 5 at 2:00 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation: Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo.
