Elizabeth "Betty" Gillerstein

Betty Gillerstein, 91, of Fargo passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on October 4, 1924 to Louise and William Linahan in Winona, MN. She married Phil Gillerstein June 25, 1947 and raised 4 children in Fargo. She worked at West Acres for many years and retired at the age of 88 from Team Makers. She was stylish, classy, and loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her baked goods were enjoyed by all. She loved taking road trips with her lunch group of 50 years including trips to the Casinos. Betty is survived by her children Pam (Bruce) Stiles, Bill, Jon (Marcie) of Fargo and Kathy (Doug) Morken of Chandler AZ; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her twin brother William in 1987 and husband Phil in 2009. Betty requested that no services will be held.
