Emil Gregory

Emil Gregory, retired Devils Lake businessman died Friday, January 23 at the age of 67 at Palliative Care in Fargo, ND after a one month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Emil had been with Farmers Union/Cenex/CHS for over 47 years having been in Belfield, ND, Velva, ND, Fessennden, ND and Devils Lake. In retirement he was the interim manager at Northwood Co-op, ND, doing what he absolutely loved and having a very hard time deciding to retire as he loved going to work and loved everyone he met along the way. Emil was born May 12, 1941 to Matt and Katie (Simnioniw) Gregory in Dickinson, ND. He married Linda (Kadrmas) Gregory in June of 1962. Emil is survived by his wife, Linda, son Brian and wife Hope, of West Fargo, ND; son Jason and his wife Tara, of Grand Forks, ND and daughter Shelly and husband Dana, of Eagan, MN. The very special lights in gramps eyes are his grandchildren Dustin and BreAnne Gregory of West Fargo, Erica, Alissa, and Michael Melroe of Eagan, MN, and Brinly and Talan Gregory of Grand Forks, ND. Sister, Bernette OBrigewitch and family, brothers Steve Gregory and family, and Marvin Gregory and Family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Katie Gregory and brother William Gregory. Emil had been in Eagles, Elks, KC?s, Jaycees, North Dakota Cenex Mangers Assoc, ND Petroleum Marketers Assoc. and every school booster club. He was an avid fan of all sports. Visitation: There will be prayers on Monday, January 26, 2009 in Boulger Funeral Home beginning at 4 with a prayer service at 5. Funeral Service: There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 with a visitation 1 our before the service in Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo, ND.
