Ethel P. Elliott was born September 7, 1919 near Grandin, ND to George Albert Elliott and Jane Clara Jalbert Elliott. She grew up and graduated from high school in Grandin. She attended North Dakota Agriculture College (NDSU) until she married George W. Brown on August 19, 1938 in Fargo. They farmed near Grandin until they moved to Fargo. Ethel worked for the S. S. Kresge Company of Fargo for several years. Ethel and George retired in 1971 and moved to McAllen, Texas where she continued to live after George?s death in 1975. Ethel attended Beauty School and became a beautician before working as a housekeeper/caretaker for the Noser family in McAllen, Texas. Ethel returned to Fargo in 1995. She resided at Bethany Homes until her death.
Ether was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Gertrude Elliott; a brother, Albert ?Hap? Elliott; and a daughter, Geraldine E. (Ronald) Satrom.
She is survived by a son, Larry G. (Beverly) Brown, Sarasota, Florida; a daughter, Jacqueline J. (Donald) Anderson, Moorhead, MN; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
