Eugene Scilley

Eugene J. ?Spud? Scilley, 78, Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN. Eugene ?Spud? Scilley was born November 17, 1928 in Leonard, ND to James and Inga (Anderson) Scilley. He grew up and attended school there. Eugene served in the Army National Guard. He married Ida J. Cossette on June 30, 1956 at St. Benedict?s Catholic Church, Wild Rice, ND. They lived in Fargo where he worked for the City of Fargo Street Department for 34 years. He enjoyed working with wood. Eugene is survived by his wife, Ida, Fargo, ND; his sons, Larry (Sue) Scilley, Fargo, ND and Bruce (Kari) Scilley, Perham, MN; his daughter, Susan J. Scilley, Fargo, ND; 3 grandchildren, Beau, Matthew, and Megan, all Fargo; 2 step grandchildren, Nicholas and Whitney. He is also survived by his sister, Marjorie Olson, Auburn, WA.
