Faith Gast

Faith E. Gast, age 58, 1606 E. Gateway Circle, Fargo, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Faith Berg was born August 5, 1945, in Devils Lake, ND, the daughter of Erling and Delores (Wood) Berg. She grew up on a farm near Bisbee, ND, and graduated from Bisbee High School in 1960. She attended North Dakota State University. She graduated from Wahpeton School of Science with a nursing degree. She was united in marriage to Donald Gast on July 1, 1967, in Bisbee. They lived in various communities. In 1973, the family moved to Hankinson, ND, where she worked at St. Gerard?s Hospital. In 1991, they moved to Finley, ND, and then to Fargo in 1994. She was currently working at the bridge company?s toll booth. Faith is survived by her husband, Donald, Fargo; two children, Carl (fianc? Jennifer Schlotman), Carrington, ND, and Donald, Fargo; two brothers, Steven (Lynnette) Berg, Bisbee, and Raymond (Patty) Berg, Newport, MN; and two sisters, Lois (Freddy) Wood, Jamestown, ND, and Cindy (Robert) Jones, Brainerd, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton, ND.
