Florence Rarick

Florence M. Rarick, 94 of Moorhead, formerly of Enderlin, ND died Monday, June 08, 2009 at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN. Florence was born on May 16, 1915 in Glenwood, MN to John “Jack” and Maude (Furtney) Carlson. She married Cecil Rarick in May of 1938 and moved to Enderlin where Cecil worked on the railroad. Cecil died in June of 1988. Florence then moved to Fargo in 1992 and moved to Eventide in November of 2005. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Enderlin and was an active volunteer and member of the United Methodist Church in Enderlin. She enjoyed being a homemaker, embroidery, needlepoint, knitting and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; her parents and by her brother, Lloyd Carlson. Florence is survived by her daughter, Carol (Stan) Lindemann of Harwood, ND; sister, Marjorie (Blaine) Yaeger of Missouri; brother, John Carlson of Glendora, CA; grandchildren, Kent (Trena) Lindemann of Harwood, ND, Jesse (Amy) Lindemann of Fargo; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Memorial Service: Thursday, June 11 at 2:00 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Final Resting Place: Enderlin Cemetery, Enderlin, ND. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
