Gail Gullickson

Gail Gullickson, age 50, of Fargo, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, in her home.

Gail Rae Gullickson was born September 25, 1954, in Red Lake Falls, MN, the daughter of Donald and Lois (Hunt) Gullickson. She later moved with her family to Moorhead, MN, and graduated from Moorhead High School. She then attended and graduated from St. Mary?s School of Nursing in Rochester, MN. Gail worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke?s Hospital, St. John?s Hospital, and Dakota Heartland, all of Fargo. She also worked at a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a brief time. In the later years, Gail was employed as a fundraiser for Easter Seals.

Gail was an excellent nurse who was very passionate about the well-being of her patients. She always went the extra mile to make sure her patients had the best care and exactly what they needed. Gail had many hobbies and pastimes, but her passion for writing poetry and short stories surpassed all others. She loved spending time with her family, listening to music, and enjoying nature and the outdoors.

Gail is survived by her son, Luke, a student at Wahpeton State School of Science; her parents, Donald and Lois Gullickson of Fargo; one brother, Craig (Kathy) of Fargo; one sister, Cyd (Rick) Tietz of Pelican Rapids, MN; three nephews, Jim Plummer, Mike Tietz, and Lee Gullickson; and one niece, Mary Gullickson; and many very special cousins.

A memorial service for Gail will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in First Congregational – United Church of Christ in Fargo. The family will greet friends in the church one hour prior to service.
