  1. Stratford Ia. Dear family,
I’m sorry to hear about your father. Although I did not know him, I knew Alma and Ludvig through my mom, Evangeline (Galde) Rinehart. We stayed at their house as kids, and I remember how nice Alma was. I’m trying to remember how Mom was related to them, I think Alma was her first cousin. Correct me if I’m wrong. But I do recall they spoke Norwegian together and Mom (Lalla to her friends) always loved that as she grew up in Norway for ten years and went back on many occasions.
Again, we wish our condolences to you all.
I would like to meet Jan Gehrke as we will be staying in Sharon this next week two houses from the Lutheran church. The little white house on the corner with pretty trees. Please feel free to stop by, or call me, 515-371-1039.
My mom is buried next to her dad, Ole Galde at Our Savior’s near Kloten.
