Obituary

Gene David Trove, formerly of Walcott, North Dakota passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Aneta, North Dakota.

 

Gene was born to Theodore and Borghild (Stubsjoen) Trove on November 14, 1929 at Wahpeton, North Dakota. He was raised on the original Trove farm in Viking Township, Richland County. Gene enlisted in the Air Force and served for 16 years. Gene Trove and Lilias Morrison Agnew were married in 1957. They lived in England before returning to the States in 1967. Lilias preceded Gene in death in 1967, Gene returned to North Dakota in 1967 and worked for many years as a carpenter in Richland, Ransom, and Cass counties.

 

Gene is survived by his children: Terry Trove, Fresno, California, Trudy Leedahl, Fargo, and Tracy (Scott) Heath, Kindred; 7 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and his brother and sisters, Marion Walberg, Fargo, Joan (Clayton) Lee, Abercrombie, ND, Bruce Trove, Fargo, and Sandra (Charles) Dunn, Cleveland, TN.
