Geraldine Busch

Geraldine (Gerry) Y. Busch, age 75, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 in her home. Geraldine the daughter of Albert and Mabel ( Erickson) Linstaedt was born May 15, 1932 at Cleveland, ND. She grew up on the family farm near Gardner, ND. She attended school in Gardner. Gerry was an All State Basket Ball Player. In her senior year of 1949 -1950 Gardner High School won the ND girls state championship. Gerry began her working career as an accomplished accordion player on WDAY Radio. At the same time she worked for Daveau Music Company as an accordion instructor. Gerry married and later divorced. She graduated from Moorhead State College (MSU) in 1970 with a degree in elementary education. She taught second grade in Walcott, ND for a year then at Kindred, ND also the second grade for 27 years retiring in 1997. She moved to Fargo in 1995 and has lived there since. After her retirement she traveled the world. She is survived by her son, Lee A. Busch, Montclair. NJ and a daughter, Melody Busch, Bloomington, MN a brother, Dennis (Vonnie) Linstaedt, Rural Pelican Rapids, MN and one grandson. Visitation: Wednesday 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Thursday 11:00 a.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home. Burial: Nora Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Gardner.
