Geraldine Beaulieu was born July 14, 1942 in Red Lake, MN. She attended St. Mary’s Mission School. She married George B. Richardson and they moved to South Minneapolis where she stayed home to raise her children. After her youngest entered school, Geraldine went to work for Laura Ingels Wilder School as an Indian Education Liason and teacher’s aide, and later worked for Hennepin County Medical Center as a food service worker. She took an early retirement and spent her time with her grandchildren. She loved playing softball, bowling, and fishing. She had talent for beadwork. She was an avid Twins and Vikings fan. She is survived by her siblings, Simon Beaulieu, Celestine Bryan; children, George, Gary, Gordon, Gwendolyn; 11 grandchildren, Carmen (Kappenman) Arellano, Gary “Jimmy” Richardson Jr., Andrea “Ande Rose” Barnhart, Kaila Tipton, Robert “Cody” Tipton, Jade Tipton, Jerrilyn Richardson, Gwendolyn B .Richardson, Gordon Richardson Jr. , Gracelyn Richardson, and 7 great grandchildren, Charles “Ethan” Edwins, Damian Arellano, Freddy Arellano, Gabriela Arellano, Iris Prenatt, Alijah Richardson, Bella Arellano; many nieces and nephews and special daughter, Vicki Neadeau. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George B. Richardson; sister, Rose Marie Poitra (Beaulieu), daughter, Rose Mary Richardson, grandson, Robert B. Tipton, nephew, Gregory Bryan.
