Obituary

Gladyce Larrabee, age 84, passed away June 21, 2016 at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo, ND.

Gladyce Fern Whalley was born in Bemidji, MN on July 9,1931 to Thomas and Hazel (Harding) Whalley, the youngest of five children. She attended school in Bemidji, Gordon, WI, and Superior, WI. In 1945 the family moved to North Dakota and she graduated from Lisbon High School in 1949. She worked for NW Bell Telephone Company and on July 29, 1950 she married Myrl Albright who also worked for NW Bell. In 1961 they transferred to Fargo where they both continued with the telephone company. They were divorced in 1981 and Gladyce transferred to New Brighton, MN. After retiring she moved back to Fargo which is where she always considered home. On June 29, 1996 she married Milton Larrabee. It was a happy but short marriage as he passed away in 2001.

She is survived by her children: Pamela Pisarczyk, Elk Grover, CA, Peggy McIntire (Dennis) Ottertail, MN, Jeffrey Albright, Fargo; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother: Bill Whalley (Lou) Sacramento, CA; Gerry Bunn, Sheldon, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and an infant son: Michael Myrl Albright.

    Enjoyed taking care of Gladys in Physical Therapy. Always added a sparkle to my days when I worked at Bethany on 42nd. She is shining big & bright in Heaven. Condolences to the family.
