Gladys was born to Walter and Emma (Magstadt) Carley on May 23, 1928 in Bismarck, ND and raised in Harvey, ND. Gladys worked for Bell Telephone in Harvey when she met Victor Moszer from Drake, ND.  They were married July 12, 1950 in Harvey. They resided in Drake, ND for a short time moving to Harvey later.  In 1955 they moved to Fargo until the mid 60’s when they moved to Lodi, CA.  They moved back Fargo in the later 60’s.

Gladys worked for the Fargo School District in Food Service at Agassiz, Hawthorne and Roosevelt before retiring in 1993.

Gladys enjoyed time gardening, sewing, crossword puzzles, reading and loved to cook. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and holding babies.  Gladys especially enjoyed being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and entire family for holidays and special occasions.

Gladys is survived by her husband, Victor “Vic”; daughter, Vicky Fettig; and three sons, Doug (Debby), Dave (Karen) and Rick, all from Fargo.  She is also survived by a sister, Leda (Harvey) Schutz, Mitchell, SD; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

    Vicky and family,

Just to let you know I am thinking of you and your family. These times are very difficult, but knowing freinds and family are with you in thought and prayer is very comforting.

    Love Dar

Most of my childhood memories include your family. We have a picture of our mom’s giving each other a perm. They both look like they are having so much fun. Our mom’s were so much alike which would make sense, because my mom said Gladys taught her so much. As the years weny by and life and family kept them from spending as much time together. It was always fun to walk in the house and see Vic and Gladys sitting at the kitchen table. When my mom and Gladys were together they both simply glowed. Gladys will be dearly missed. I would loved to have been in Heaven on Sunday to see that reunion.

You will be missed! I remember the fun times we had sitting at the picnic table in Sib and Adrianne’s back yard, or the time we spent at Buddy’s. God Bless You and May You Rest in Peace!
