She was very active throughout the years on Pie Day and making rommergrot, lefse, and flatbread and was known for her excellent baking.  Gladys took pleasure in her lawn, garden and flower beds.  The greatest joy in life for Gladys came from her family – she loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Gladys was a True Inspiration to many. Facing so many adversities in her lifetime, she endured – always with an open door, open arms, huge smile, greatfulness, uplifting positive attitude, and more love for everything and everyone possible. She will be deeply missed. Heartfelt Sympathy to the entire Nipstad family.;

    I have only been privledged to know Gladys for the past 14 years, but she treated me as one of her own grandchildren which I am very grateful for. She is and will always be a very special person in my heart. She is finally dancing in heaven with Tyrell after all these years apart. What a fulfilling life – which I hope I am able to have as she did.
