Glenn Halvorson

Glenn B. Halvorson, 93, Wyndmere, ND, past away Friday, October 21, 2005 at Johnson Elder Care, Fargo, ND. Glenn was born April 6, 1912 to Tollef and Randy (Sire) Halvorson in rural Wyndmere, ND. He went to school in rural Wyndmere. He then farmed and ranched in Wyndmere and McLeod areas. For a number of years he owned Halvorson-Owen Ford Dealership in Kindred. Glenn also while farming, had a grain and gravel trucking business. He married Alma Sorbel on January 1, 1939, in Walcott, ND. Alma past away June 8, 2002. Glenn continued to live on the farm till he past away. Glenn is survived by his children, Jerome (Mary) Halvorson, Wyndmere, ND, Ronald Halvorson, Leonard, ND, Jacquelyn Lowe, Reno, NV, Alan (Bonnie) Halvorson, Kindred, ND, a sister, Irene (Ben) Burrows, Mesa, AZ, four grandchildren, Scott Halvorson, Tamara Wheeler, Justin Halvorson, Aarika Halvorson, and great grandchildren, Alycia Halvorson and Jessica Halvorson. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, wife Alma, brothers, Clarence Helmer, Randolph, and sisters, Avis Hoard, Gustava Bottolf, and Esther Hansen The Funeral for Glenn will be Wednesday, October 26, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo, ND at 11:00am. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will be at the Gol Aal Cemetery, Wyndmere, ND Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND is in charge of the arrangements
