Gordon Johnson

Gordon Lewis Johnson, 79, Fargo, went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2014 at Sanford Health in Fargo.  He was born on July 3, 1934 in Moorhead, MN to Severt and Caroline (Marchand) Johnson.  He grew up in Moorhead before later settling in Fargo.  Gordie worked as a dishwasher in Moorhead at various hotels.

Gordie was well known as the guy who rode his bike with a basket in front, all around town.  He was very musically inclined, and played the accordion, harmonica, and the organ, all by ear.  Everyone loved his sense humor and he greatly enjoyed being the entertainer.

He is survived by his sister, Marvel Draper; nieces, Kim and Pamela; nephews, Duane and Kevin; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; his very special friend, Julie; and his many other friends at Villa Maria.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
