Grace Porter

Grace Porter, 84, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Moorhead Health Care Center. Grace Wiger was born December 21, 1921 in rural Waubun, MN, the daughter of Augusta (Jacobsen) and Gerhardt Wiger. The family farmed in the Grandin-Kelso, ND area. She graduated from Bohnsack, ND High School. Grace married Glenn Porter on September 6, 1941. The couple farmed west of Grandin, ND. Grace was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Grandin, ND where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the Grandin Homemaker?s Club. She is survived by her husband, Glenn; her children, Glenda Smith (Gary) Buffalo Lake, MN, Kathy Olson, Las Vegas, NV, Donald (Mary) Harwood, ND, and Teresa Radcliffe, Villa Maria, Fargo, ND; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her brother, Willis (Ruby) Wiger , Fargo, ND; and a sister, Mildred McSparron, Hillsboro, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Orville Wiger and Gordon Wiger; and one great grandchild, Justin Krause. Prayer Service: Friday, 7 p.m. ? Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
