Harold John Heley, 78, Fargo, ND passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo. He was born on November 4, 1937 to John and Esther (Schultz) Heley in Hankinson, ND. He grew up in Wahpeton, ND graduating from Wahpeton High School. On May 19, 1962 Harold was united in marriage to Sharon Stephens in Breckenridge, MN. The couple made their home in Fargo where they raised their three children. They remained married until her passing in 2010. Harold made his career in the roofing business. He was employed at Lee's Roofing in Fargo eventually becoming co-owner, where he worked until his retirement. Harold loved hunting, especially for deer. He also enjoyed taking road trips and going to Las Vegas with his wife. He is survived by his sons, Timothy (Racquel) Heley and James (Hope) Heley; brothers, Duane (Anita) Heley and Ron (Nancy) Heley; sisters, Karen (Coyne) Quigley and Carol (Rex) Hanson; grandchildren, Travis Bouton, Chase Geller, Mason Geller, Tiffany Stuber, Patrick Stuber, Cierra Heley, Xander Heley; and many other relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Lori Geller; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Dave Ehlers. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior.   1. Scott & I send our sincerest condolences to cousins Tim & James and Aunt Sharon & Uncle Harold’s grandchildren during this difficult time. We were very saddened by the news. We will include your family in our prayers for strength, courage, and peace as you navigate through the coming months. Prayers will also be for Harold, that he may rest in blessed peace, free from all pain and suffering.

  2. I didn’t know Harold very well but I worked with Sharon for many years at Dakota Hospital. Both will be missed.
