Harvey Lilleberg

Harvey Lilleberg, 89 Hillsboro, ND died on Friday, January 17, 2003 in the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home. Harvey was born to Marcus and Inga Lilleberg on February 25, 1913 at Cummings, ND. He grew up and went to school in rural Cummings. He was united in marriage to Helen Munson at her parents' home in Niagara, ND on June 9, 1942. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. After his discharge he returned home and resided on a farm North East of Cummings. Harvey farmed until his retirement in 1974. Harvey was active in his community by serving on the Ervin Township Board, the Highland Church Counsel, and the Highland Cemetery Board. After his retirement from farming they continued to reside on the farm until 1993 when they bought a house in Hillsboro Nursing Home in June of 2002. He leaves his wife Helen, brothers, Kenneth and Irvin of Hillsboro, ND and Vernon (Edith) Lilleberg of Grand Forks, ND and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant sister Helen and his sister Mildred. He was also preceded in death by his sisters-in-law Connie and Lillian. The Funeral will be on January 21, 2003, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Highland Lutheran Church, Cummings, ND. There will be a visitation in the Hillsboro Medical Center Nursing Home on Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service in the Nursing Home at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Highland Lutheran Cemetery, Cummings, ND arrangements by Wildeman Funeral Home, Hillsboro, ND
