Hazel Trom

Hazel Bernice Trom, 92, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Elim Nursing Home, Fargo, North Dakota, formerly of Davenport, ND Hazel was born September 11, 1911 to Gustava and Ellen C. (Jacobson) Myhra at Davenport, ND. Hazel?s father owned Warren Elevator, Warren, ND. Hazel attended the Davenport School and married Gordon Trom on September 2, 1930 in Moorhead, MN. Hazel is survived by 2 daughters - Carol (Richard) Steen, Round Lake, MN, Barbara Geurin, Fargo, ND, and 2 sons - Wallace (Marie) Trom, Tempe, AZ, and Robert (Kathy) Trom, Palmdale, CA and 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great-granchild. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gordon Trom, her daughter Marlys Drenth, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, 1 great granddaughter. Hazel was a good cook, an expert in sewing, knitting and crocheting. She played piano and was a Minnesota Twins fan, had a teddy bear collection, loved any furry friends, dogs, cats, racoons and made the best pickles. Hazel?s funeral will be Tuesday at 4pm at the Davenport Lutheran Church, Davenport, ND with burial following the funeral at the Davenport Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at the Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Arrangements are with Fredrikson F
