Helen C. Eisenhardt
Kelso, North Dakota
Helen C. (Warner) Eisenhardt passed away peacefully on October 15, 2003, and is now in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.
She was born on July 6, 1921, the daughter of Earl and Hannah (Tollefson) Warner. She grew up in the Halstad, Minnesota, area and graduated from Fargo Central High School. Helen was united in marriage to Fred Eisenhardt. They farmed and raised a family together in the Kelso/Grandin area. During retirement years they wintered in Mesa, Arizona.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Fred Eisenhardt of Kelso, North Dakota; her four children, Pepper (Karen) Eisenhardt of Fargo, North Dakota; Tim Eisenhardt of Kelso; Gale (Allan) Peterson of Dallas, Texas; Lise (Brian) Waller of Wayzata, Minnesota; her sister, Barbara (Al) Redlin of Chandler, Arizona; her four grandchildren; and her four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Dick Warner and Sonny Warner; and her grand daughter, Leah Eisenhardt.
Helen especially loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing her music, cards, oil painting, gardening, cooking and loved listening to the Twins baseball games with her son, Tim. Her faith and love of community gave her great comfort. Helen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Grandin, and was an active member of her church and community. Her loving and optimistic inspiration will be missed by all who knew her.
A special thanks to all the doctors and staff at the Hillsboro Hospital and Nursing Home who so lovingly took care of our sweet angel, wife, and mother.
