  1. grafton, n.dakMy sympathy to Herbs family and marcia.it was so nice to have met you at the reunion, and to see Herb again ,after all these years.a classmate of his. Class of 62

  2. Revillo SD”So glad you got to see me again, Krissy” That was Herb’s usual greeting, and I will miss not hearing that again or seeing his teasing grin as he said it.

Herb became an important part of our family when he and Marcia met. They truly changed each other’s lives, and both experienced things in life together that they likely never would have experienced individually. I am so grateful that Herb and Marcia shared that special love!

My parents’ gratitude to Herb is immeasurable. They both took comfort in the knowledge that Marcia had someone special in her life at last–a true protector. And Marcia returned that love in a new giving way.

Our times together were not often, but special–holidays, weekends at the lake, meeting at Dad and Mom’s. We never knew when Marcia and Herb would show up, but we knew it would be memorable when they did!

Herb shared his strong faith with others, and while we’ll miss Herb, we know he is rejoicing with our Savior.

  3. Fargo ND

  5. Fargo I worked with Herb at Doyle, and he was a pleasure to work with, and top ride with. He always offered good conversation, especially when it was about blues music or baseball. He will be truly missed.

  6. Edinburg ND
I am so sad to read about Herbie’s passing. I have lots of memories of him. He sat behind me in high school. He did a lot of things that “drove me nuts” at the time, but in retrospective they were not that bad!!! He did use his hypodermic needle to cause me consternation!!! I only look on it as lots of fun, fun, fun.

I remember him coming to Edinburg about 15 years ago so such and camping down in the park. I think he rode his bike here. I remember visiting with him and he was SO proud of having his teeth fixed.

I was great fun to see him and his friend this past June for our 50th class reunion. So glad he came. Rita
