Hyllari Ryan Marcuson was born to Cory and Laura in Fargo, North Dakota on January 26, 2006. Hyllari grew up and attended school at McKinley, Ben Franklin, and North High. She loved her dog Harley, her cat Winny, her scooter, and her friends and family. She enjoyed singing and dancing at Trollwood, practicing her longboard, drawing, crafts, and cooking. She was willing to try new experiences, including sushi, and riding with her dad on his motorcycle. She loved helping her grandmas cook, making lefse, and canning peaches and cherries. She enjoyed facetiming family and friends.
Hyllari is survived by her parents Cory and Laura; sister Cecelia “Cece”; grandparents Doris and Don Schmaltz, Mitch and Eileen Marcuson; uncles Shane Marcuson, Brett Marcuson, Tim Muscha, and Cody Muscha (Desi); aunt Missy (Patrick) Volk; and many special cousins.
Hyllari is preceded in death by her grandfather Howard Muscha; aunt Amanda Jo Muscha; dog Lily; and cat Abby.
Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 7, 2020 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 1:00 P.M. The service will be live streamed on Boulger Funeral Home’s website at www.boulgerfuneralhome.com.

I bring to you grieving family and friends of Hyllari Ryan Marcuson into your throne of grace. Lord, they are going through a lot of pain following their loss. Lord I ask that you watch over Cory, Laura, and Cecelia Marcuson as it is not an easy thing for parents to bury their child and for her sister to watch them lay Hyllari to rest. Father comfort them as their hearts are heavily grieving. Help them through together as this is when they need each other most. Help them to continue being faithful to you even through the pain. Lavish them with your love and fill the void left in their hearts with your unconditional love.

My daughter had the pleasure of meeting Hyllari this summer at a birthday party and instantly liked her. Olivia says she was a wonderful person and she was so funny.

My name is Shamani, i met Hyllari in prairie and literally only knew her for a week but it felt like we where friends before. I was just texting her and saying i was happy for her! I am so hurt right now and I am praying for her family. I made her a bracelet and she made me one and I am so very grateful that I have something to remember her from, and we both loved Billie Eilish and all I have is memories of her laughing and of us crying together and hugging each other on my last day at prairie. I really want to ask if she still has my bracelet that I made her could she be buried with it or could i have it. I love you so much hyllari and i am going to miss you so very much💞💔rest in paradise

I want to start off by introducing myself, my name is Kaycee Forster and I was a student teacher when Hyllari was in 4th grade in Mr. Thompson’s class.
I cannot believe what you and your family are going through right now. I am so sorry for your loss. I wanted to share a memory of Hyllari that has been stuck with me forever. When I was a student teacher her desk was right next to mine and we would talk often through out the day. One day we were talking about how we both loved pickles. The next day she brought me a jumbo dill pickle! Not only did it make me laugh but it was also so thoughtful of her… She was such a genuine and fun-loving girl. She will be missed by many.

Hyllari – you have left such a positive impression on all of us in the band room at BFMS. We were all so impressed with the person you were, the role model you were, how hard you worked and how fun you were to be around. It’s so hard to let you go. Such a beautiful person – inside and out. You were one of my favorites, and you made every day just that much better with your smile. You will be missed so much.
