Obituary

Ida M. Gagner Anderson, age 82, Moorhead, passed away Sunday, February 1st, 2015 at home under the care of Hospice Red River Valley surrounded by loved ones.

Ida was born January 14th, 1933 to Albert and Alice Gagner. She lived on the family farm in Terrebonne, MN and moved to Minneapolis at age 17.  She met John Anderson whom she married in July 1958. She spent 20 years supporting her husband during his military career in the Navy.  He retired in 1973 and they made their home in Seattle, WA raising 2 children, Terri & Todd.

Ida moved to Moorhead in 1997 at which time she started volunteering at Sanford in the Pediatrics Unit and did so until her death.

Preceded in death is her husband John, her grandparents, her parents Alice & Albert, brothers Lloyd, Buck, Pete, Mike and Melvin, sisters Betty & Mary and a granddaughter Kara.

She is survived by her daughter Terri Yellam, son Todd Anderson, grandson John Anderson, Graddaughters Mikaila Yellam, Marissa Yellam & Gina Anderson,  great-granddaughter Kaylani Wells. Brother Don (Merle) Gagner, Sister Lucy (Ronnie) Fitzgerald, Sister-in Laws Florence , Ann & Mary and Brother-in-Law Roger.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews whom she holds very dear to her heart. She loves very deeply the special family that lived next door to her… Shane, Jen, Robert, Rylie & Logan Richards and sends a special thank you for all their love and support.
