Irene F Satrom

Irene Francis Satrom, 87, The Evergreens, formerly Galesburg, North Dakota, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 in Fargo. Irene Frances Satrom was born to Johannes and Lena (Anderson) Satrom at Galesburg, ND on the family farm in Dow?s Township. on October 28th, 1920. She He grew up in Galesburg and attended Dow?s District #93 school, She graduated from Moorhead State Teacher?s College, Moorhead, MN with a degree in Elementary Education. Irene taught for over 30 years in the Moorhead Independent School District # 152. She was an active member of the Minnesota Education Association and the National Education Association. Her goal in education was to help each second grader reach his or her potential. Irene loved yard work and gardening. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Lydia Borud and Sylvia Brovick; brothers, Howard, Philip, Raymond, John (Jack), Palmer, Lewis, Orville (Duke), and . Arno (Bun) Satrom
