James Bauer, 64, West Fargo, ND passed away Tuesday, June 14th at Sanford Palliative Care surrounded by family.

Jim was born October 31, 1946 in Wolsey, SD to Wilmer and Fairy (Skinner) Bauer.

On July 20, 1968 he married Linda Grayson.  They lived in Canton, SD, Fargo, ND, Duluth, MN and most recently West Fargo, ND.

Jim was an avid bow hunter and loved all hunting and fishing activities, but more than anything he adored his children and grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Robert (Cheryl) Bauer-Olson, Fargo; Rebekka (Matt) Hill, Argusville; and Bradley (Crystal) Bauer, Moorhead, 10 beautiful grandchildren, Kenny, Emily, Celia, Sofia, Layla, Ryan, Cale, Hunter, Lilia and Eli, and a brother Leroy (Jan) Bauer, Bakersfield, CA.

Jim's wish is for casual attire to include blue jeans or your favorite hunting cap at the service.

    Shocked to read of Jim’s passing. I lost track of you two when you worked temporarily in White Bear Lake & never came back to Agent Services. Have thought many times how great Jim was to drive us around town for quick lunch’s for his wife’s buddies. May God bless him & give strength to your & family.

  11. Jim – you were such a great person and you will be missed dearly. I have soo many memories of growing up next door to you. I always felt like you were a part of my family.

  12. Bellevue IDAunt Linda and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Jim. Even though I only meet Uncle Jim once and talked to him serveral times, he is my uncle and I loved him. I just wish I could of known him while growing up. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers during these diffiult times.
