So sorry to read of Jim’s death. My sympathy to all of you. The last time I saw Jim was at Norby’s and we had such a nice visit (That was much too long ago).

A good friend when we were growing up in Wahpeton. We spent a lot of time together on Otter Tail
lake where our familys had cabins..Jim always had a nice car to drive as his dad owned the dealership.
We also lived a block apart in Wahpeton. I was sorry to hear that he passed away. My thoughts to the family.

So many great memories, growing up next door to the Kuchera’s !!! Jim had such a warm and friendly personality, loved to kid around. Like when he would give us a ride to school in his police car and threatened his daughter Julie and I, that he would turn on the red and blue lights. Or when he would sing in the car on the way to school, “I love little babes butts, small pick up truck and much more”. And the time Julie and I got in trouble spending her piggy bank savings at “Oakland market” and had to confess as he was all dressed in his uniform, How could I lie??? We were only 9 or 10 years old.

What a great man and a great family! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone that had the privilege to know such a wonderful person.

Good-by James, you may be gone but your jokes will live on forever. I loved working with you at Norbys and it was never the same once you retired. My sympathies to Pat and the rest of your extended family. I’m sure you will still find little ways to play tricks on them. Rest in peace, James. You worked hard and you deserve it.
