James Lebus

James Victor (Jim) Lebus, 66, Lake Maud, formerly Fargo died on Friday, September 12, 2003 at his lake home. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo. There will be visitation in the Boulger Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at the Fort Lincoln Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND Jim Lebus was born to Howard and Alice Lebus in Nome, North Dakota on October 12, 1936. He attended schools in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1954. Jim served in the Armed Forces from 1955 until 1957. He returned to Fargo where he began work with the Lavelle Lumber Company where he worked for 20 years. Jim started Howard?s Lounge and was very active in Softball. James Victor Lebus married Sonya Peterson in Jamestown, North Dakota on January 4, 1959. They lived in Fargo until moving to Lake Maud six months ago. He started Green Season lawn care with his sons. He loved spending time at his lake home and playing golf. He is survived by his Wife Sonya, at home Children Richard (Tracey) Lebus, Fargo William (Rhonda) Lebus, Fargo Grandchildren Amy, Elisha, and Ryan He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Alice, and his brother, Edward (Bud).
