Used to see him a lot during the winter months between 5 and 10 years ago when our boys played youth hockey together. 13. Roseville MnI am at a loss of words to express my sadness at Jason’s death and the pain it causes all who love him.
My Pastor told me recently that the Bible always seems to have just what we need. In my daily study Bible reading this week, here is what I needed, and I hope it helps everyone.
    To contemplate, readings from Isaiah:
“Nothing can make up for the absence of someone whom we love, and it would be wrong to try to find a substitute we must simply hold out and see it through. That sounds very hard at first, but at the same time it is a great consolation, for the gap, as long as it remains unfilled, preserves the bond between us. God keeps the gap empty and so helps us keep alive our former communion with each other, even at the cost of pain.
The dearer and richer our memories, the more difficult the separation. But gratitude changes the pangs of memory into a tranquil joy. We must take care not to wallow in our memories or to hand ourselves over to them. The past gives us lasting joy and strength.”
God bless Jason and May God bless you all.

When I think of Jason I always see a big smile on his face. I never heard anything negative come out of his mouth. A very upbeat, pleasant, happy guy. My condolences to all of you.
