Jerome Boeddeker

Jerome passed away on June 22, 2005, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND, at the age of 88, following a lengthy surgery and illness. Jerome Francis Boeddeker was born on June 14, 1917, in Caledonia, ND, the son of Frank and Leila (Weisinger) Boeddeker. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Jerome was united in marriage to Rosalie Manthey on October 11, 1948. They lived and farmed together near Hillsboro their entire lives. Jerome loved God, his family, farming, his coon hound, and his many deer hunting buddies. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jerome is survived by his sons, Rodger (Evie) Boeddeker; Gary Boeddeker; and Bruce (Louise) Boeddeker; and his daughter, Marlene Eblen; all of Hillsboro, ND; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Fern Anderson of Breckenridge, MN; his sister in law, Vergie Boeddeker; and brother in law, Bill Manthey; both of Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leila; his wife, Rosalie; his brother, Joseph; and his niece, Cathy.
