a yr ago today my dad drove to fargo(a 2+ hour drive each way) for my birthday just to have dinner and then turned around and drove home. He often did things like that just to be with his family. I miss him so much today. But I know he isn’t far away!

  4. I didn’t work directly with Jerry…I work in the kitchen at Elim. I am sorry to hear about Jerry. I will miss seeing him every day. I didn’t know him long but, he won my heart over instantly. He was so kind & appreciative of anything you did for him. I was really looking forward to seeing him during the holidays. I made him a Christmas name tag for his place setting & I asked him what color he wanted his & he said “blue”. So, I made him a blue one. My heart goes out to the family & you are in my prayers. My deepest sympathy, Tara Kadrie

  10. Moorhead MN
While I had the pleasure of meeting Jerome only once, I felt as if I’d known him a very long time. A co-worker of Leah’s, I grew to know him and admire him through his daughter’s eyes and the stories about the two of them.

I am in awe by the amount of love Leah had, with no bounds. It is clear that she thinks the world of her father, as does her two sons. One can rest assured, that Jerome’s legacy and love will live on through them.

The courage Jerome displayed as he quitely fought his illness is a true testament to the man he was, always thinking of other’s while he endured the pain.

Leah, may you and your boy’s feel the love and comfort that God bestows upon you and may He ever so gently carry you through these difficult times. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  11. I love you dad so much, I am blessed to be your daughter. I will miss you every day until I see you again! I have a wonderful guardian angel in you now so I know you are not far away! I will see you in my dreams! good night & sweet dreams. Love Hugs & Kisses your daughter, Leah
