Jerome Scholand

Mr. Jerome M. Scholand, 61, of Troy, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born on June 14, 1952 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Joseph and Clare (Linneman) Scholand. Jerome enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly after graduation from high school. He married Kris Struckmann while serving in the military. Jerome was always a good provider and for many years worked two jobs. He enjoyed music such as the "oldies" and "goldies" with singers such as Don Francisco, Hank Snow and Roy Orbison was always his favorite. Jerome loved fishing and watching the History and Discovery channels. He later moved to St. Peters, Missouri because of his work. Jerome married Melissa Wooldridge on May 7, 1999 in St.Charles. He worked as a concrete laborer during the day and in the evenings, he was a CNA. Hard work was no stranger to him. Jerome will be sadly missed and long remembered by his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Melissa Scholand of Troy; his children: Aaron Scholand, Luke Scholand, Clare Trim, John Scholand, Beth Gresco and his step-daughter, Jessica Davila. He is further survived by his mother, Clare Scholand; his seven grandchildren: Jayden, Nick, Jaxon, Miles, John, Lawson, Gage; and his six siblings: Theresa, Mary, Donnie, Paul, Dorothy and Collette; and other relatives and friends.

Jerome was preceded in death by his father, Joe Scholand, his brother, John Scholand, father-in-law, Ray Wooldridge and sister-in-law, Mary Scholand.
