Jerry Jochim

Jerry L. Jochim, age 53, Fargo, died Monday, May 3, 2004 in United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. Jerry Jochim was born September 10, 1950, in Bismarck, ND, the son of Lewis and Arlis (Goll) Jochim. He grew up in the Wing/Regan/Baldwin, ND, area. He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1968. He graduated from Bismarck Junior College in 1969 with an auto mechanics degree. He graduated from Moorhead Technical College in 1971 with a diesel mechanics degree. Jerry was united in marriage to Jean E. Thomsen on June 26, 1970, in Wilton, ND. They made their home in Fargo. He owned and operated South Side Union 76 from 1971-73. He then began work as a driver for McKee Transport in Fargo, later known as Allied Auto based out of St. Paul. He was employed there at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Jean of Fargo; two children, Jason (Teresa) Jochim of Horace, ND, and Jennifer Jochim (Lyle Macziewski) of West Fargo, ND; five grandchildren, Megan, Spencer, Cody, Logan, and Samantha; his mother, Arlis Jochim of Bismarck; his grandfather, Leo Goll of Bismarck; one brother, Larry (Joy) Jochim of Mandan, ND; two sisters, Wanda (Larry) Mallory of Bismarck, and Rhoda (Keith) Badde of Valley City, ND. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Jochim. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo. Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
