Obituary

Jo Wold, 68, of West Fargo, ND, died on November 17, 2015, surrounded by family.

She was born on September 11, 1947, in Fargo, and was baptized at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Her faith was a source of hope and strength for her.  Jo was an active member at Faith Lutheran, as she participated in worship and enjoyed adult education.

Jo is survived by her children, John (Beth) Wold, Chad Wold, Christine Wold, Stacy Wold, Amy Wold, Sarah Wold; grandchildren, Shawna, Lindsey, Danielle, Gabriella, and Benjamin, brother, Fr. John L. Evans, II, (Rochester, MN),  sister, Judith Buth (Grand Forks, ND), and nephew, Lawrence Buth (Fargo, ND).  Jo was preceded in death by Laurie Wold (daughter).

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo, with viewing one hour prior to the celebration at the Church.

Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church or St Vincent’s Society.

    So sorry to hear of Jo’s passing. I have special memories of our younger yrs. and of her faithful letter writing to our Grandmother Evans! For a lighter note, I must mention how I disliked sharing our grandfathers lap when we were were very young!

    So sorry to see this sweet lady passed. She was so nice welcoming me to Faith Lutheran. During the greeting, she always made sure I had a hug. She will be truly missed by me. May you now breath a little easier in the arms of your Lord. Prayers to her family.
