Joanne I. Swetland

Joanne I. Swetland, age 68, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at Meritcare Hospital in Fargo. Joanne Isabel Frieberg was born May 7, 1936 at Flaxville, MT. She worked and lived in numerous cities. Joanne worked as a restaurant manager for most of her working career, retiring in 1993. She moved to this area in 1984 and to Fargo in 1997. She is survived by five children: Ron(Sheri) Beck, Ft. Worth, TX, Rod (Kim) Beck retired Commander Sergeant Major, Otis Orchards, WA, Roxanne Beck, West Fargo, ND, Brandie (Gary) Sherman, Fargo, ND, and Scott (Rachel) Tuenge, Twin Valley, MN; a sister, Edith (Don) Scheele, Saco, MT; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Leo Frieberg, her mother Geneva Harvey, step-father Elmer Harvey, one sister Mary Ellen Bergerson and two infant brothers.
