Joel Craig Brodshaug, 44, Fargo, ND, formerly of Horace, died in his home in Fargo, on Friday, December 5, 2003.
Joel was born October 5, 1959, in Moorhead, Minnesota to Orten and Sandra (Fjelstad) Brodshaug. He graduated from Kindred High School in 1978 and received degrees from both Bismarck Jr. College, Bismarck, ND and Moorhead State University, Moorhead, MN. Joel farmed in the Horace, ND area.
Joel is survived by his parents, and three sisters, Susanne Brodshaug, Mapleton, ND, Shannon (Bill) Wallwork, Fargo, and Heidi Brodshaug, Menlo Park, CA, one niece Alexis Wallwork, Fargo, and a Grandmother Margaret Fjelstad, Kindred, ND.
There will be a Prayer Service at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND, on Wednesday at 7pm with visitation from 4-7pm. The funeral for Joel will be Thursday at 2pm at the Hickson Lutheran Church, Hickson, ND with burial following at North Pleasant Cemetery, rural Hickson.

Joel it is hard to believe it has been 18 years . You and your family remain in my prayers. Your smile and laughter remain in my memory and those you loved. We visited your grave many years ago and have been by a few times… you are remembered fondly . I know you are smiling down on all of us. Rest in Peace
