John Byrd

John F. Byrd, age 40, Moorhead, died Thursday, August 26, 2004, in his home. John F. Byrd (JB) was born January 20, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Ollie Byrd, the youngest of 11 children. He attended Gregory and Marshall schools of Chicago. John later moved to Moorhead, MN. John worked several odd jobs and was currently working at the YMCA as a floor tech. He was on a softball team for Sidestreet. John is survived by two sisters and seven brothers: Betty Washington, Eve Shell, Thomas Barnes, George Hue, Daniel Byrd, Frank Byrd, Michael Byrd, Jessie Byrd, and Robert Byrd. He is also survived by a son John Jr. and a daughter Susie; a brother-in-law Essaw Washington; three sister-in-laws Irene Byrd, Teresa Byrd and Faith Hue as well as lots of nieces, nephews and friends and a special friend Tyrone Cromwell. John was preceded in death by his mother and father and two sisters. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
