Jonathan Andrew Thorseth, 43, Fargo, ND passed away January 31, 2021 at his home.

Jon (Thor) was born November 24, 1977 in Fargo, to Deborah (Anderson) and Roger Thorseth. He attended McKinley Elementary, Ben Franklin Junior High and graduated from Fargo North/Woodrow.

Jon met his soulmate and best friend Sara, and together with her children, Dylan and SuAnna, they made their home in Fargo. Jon was self-employed at Jon Thorseth Wood Floors and Painting. After high school he worked for Maynard Thorseth Painting and for NDSU before becoming an independent contractor.

He liked to watch football, hockey, and attend his kid’s activities. He also enjoyed traveling. He was a lifetime “Northsider”. In his younger years he played hockey for Fargo North Raiders and kept many of those friendships.

He is survived by his beloved Sara Bennett, Dylan and SuAnna Grant; mother Deborah Thorseth; sister Melissa Cote; nieces and nephews Ellie, Hanna and Tyler Cote, Caliann, Christopher, Courtney and Coda Thorseth; brother-in-law Seth Cote; uncles and aunts, Maynard (Linda) Thorseth, John (Petra) Thorseth, Doug (Janis) Anderson, Terry (Mona) Anderson, Sandra (Rob) Koiner; many cousins Drew and Jenna Anderson, Ryan Moen, Rick Howes , Daniel and Katelyn Koiner, Kirsten Powers (Rob Zanetti), Aubree Thorseth (Jordan Carstensen) and Zach (Faye) Thorseth, Annie Thorseth (Brian Sutten), and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Roger Thorseth (Dec 2020), his brother Christopher (2015) Thorseth, sister-in-law Kayla Claus Thorseth (2018), aunt Kristi Moen (2018).
