Obituary

Jose Flores passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home in Fargo, surrounded by his loving family, and under the care of hospice of
the Red River Valley.

Jose Flores was born on April 24, 1932, the son of Nativiand and Concepcion (Aguirre) Flores. He was united in marriage to Consuelo Sepulveda on July 3, 1955. They moved to Dilworth, MN, in 1957, where they made their home and raised their family.

Throughout the years, Jose was well known in the area for his music and his band. He was a gifted musician who loved playing his accordian and performing for many in the area. He was truly a leader in the music industry. Jose loved spending time with his family, spending time at the lakes fishing, and had a fondness for riding horses. Jose retired from Fairmont Creamery after many years.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Consuelo; his children – Rosa (Harold) Hofmaister of Moorhead, MN; Johni (Karol) Flores of Fargo; Maria (Randy) Nelson of Sabin, MN; Oscar Flores; Gilbert Flores; and Janie (Jerry) Haussler, all of Fargo. Also surviving are his grandchildren – Savanna, Joshua, Sean, Kasen, and Tarryn; his great-grandchildren – Bailey Wayne, Caleb John, Bella Maria and Arya Juanita; and also his very special friends and caregivers, Evelyn Vah and Kollie Gorpu.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law.
