Joseph Engen

Joseph (Joe) G. Engen, age 85 died December 27, 2006. at his home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on the family farm on November 7, 1921 to Theodore and Clara (Lukkasson) Engen. He entered the US Army July 1945 and was honorably discharged March 1947. He started farming in 1949. Joe married JoAnn Osmundson at Milbank SD, on May 19, 1956. JoAnn passed away January 13, 2002. Joe is survived by his children, Cheryl (Merl) Lindstrom Dewey OK, Kevin (Anne) Engen Arvada CO, Carla Engen, Kindred, ND, Gordon Engen home farm, Susan Engen Fargo ND. He is also survived by his grandchildren Shane (Lisa) Lindstrom, Geri (Kim) Gardner, Erin Lindstrom, SSGT. Chad (SGT. Amanda) Engen, Mike (Sara) Engen, Nicholas and Noah Engen, PVT2 Scott Pribble, Nicole Pribble, Eric Pribble; and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Esther Kearns, Lincoln City, OR and Doris Waznick, Lodi, CA; a host of nieces; and nephews; and special friends, Deb, Ryan and Josh Mueller. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife JoAnn, his sisters Inger Kruetsberg, Dora Engen, and Mabel Sorbel and infant brother Melvin Engen.
